The Yellowstone National Park represents many bubbling geysers on a huge plate, which is the Yellowstone Caldera (see Wikipedia). There are paved roads in the shape of figure 8 with many turnouts for parking and observing. Some of the turnouts lead to the wooden path loops around erupting or boiling geysers. It takes about a day to drive around each circle of the figure 8, while making stops and walking the wooden paths. There are several spots with hotels, stores, and restaurants, of which Old Faithful is the major one. Wild animals. i.e., big herds of bison, black bear, grizzly bear, elk, and wolf can be observed. The views are spectacular, and tourists are many.

Grand Teton National Park is, on the other hand more serene with camping sites, hiking trails, lakes, and the Snake River rafting.
